Next year's Y-Tri date: June 6, 2010
This is the the Bath Area Family YMCA's 2nd annual sprint triathlon. The swim (525 yards) will take place in the Bath YMCA pool, the bike segment (11.5 miles) will be along local scenic roads, and the run segment will be a 5K along the streets of Bath.
New! Y-Tri Aquabike, Teen Tri, and Team Competition!
This year, an aquabike option (just the 525 yard swim and the 11.5 mile bike segments ) and a teen-tri for ages 12 through 17 (with shorter distances suited for this age group) will be offered in conjunction with the Y-Tri sprint triathlon.
New this year, a pod competition category will be offered for Y-Tri triathlon participants. Pods consist of three or more members who all complete the entire triathlon individually. Total pod time is calculated by adding the times of the four fastest individual pod members. The pod with the fastest total team time wins! Each pod member needs to complete a registration from.
April 21 - The minimum number needed to form a Pod has been reduced to three or more.

*Participants who are not 2009 USA Triathlon (USAT) members need to buy a $10 one-day USAT membership with cash or check payable to USAT at race packet pickup on May 30 or May 31.
Participants who are 2009 USAT members must present their USAT membership card at race packet pickup on May 30 or 31.
The YMCA reserves the right to modify the course, including shortening or lengthening the triathlon segments. In the event the triathlon is cancelled by the YMCA for any unforeseen problems, refunds will be provided. If an individual or team decides not to participate, the entry fee is nonrefundable. There will be no triathlon rain date. All roads are open to traffic.
