Spinning (New!!)

Spinning is an ideal exercise for people at different levels of physical fitness and with different goals. With no complicated moves to learn and music that begs your legs to pedal, this class is bound to be fun and challenging.

This group class is a fun, energizing, indoor cycling class that is suited to all levels of fitness. The wonderful thing about Spinning is that each bike has its' own tension and ultimately the rider is in control of the workout received. The instructor will lead you on rides that will simulate outdoor riding conditions -- hills and flats -- using a variety of tempos and positions all set to motivating music.

As a "base" is built and the student progresses through the Endurance phase, concepts such as pedal efficiency, breathing, relaxation, and visualization will raise the level of cycling enjoyment and progress the student toward higher fitness levels.

Spinning will be taught by Carla Carver.

In reality it is quite challenging, and when executed in the proper manner constitutes a demanding workout involving the mind as much as the body. The instruction will include the first third of the Yang family short form, Tai Chi walking, breathing ,as well as some basic applications. Come learn to breathe and move in an entirely new way !
